Paneer pulav

#boxweek14 #paneer Paneer or cottage cheese made using curdled milk is a very rich protein source. I make this paneer pulav very often as it can be prepared quickly and taste really good with a variety of vegetables.

Ingredient

Food ration :

4 people

Cooking time :

30 minutes
1 cup

rice

2 tablespoons

corn kernels

100 gms

paneer

as per taste

Salt

1 tablespoon

red chilli powder

1/4 teaspoon

turmeric powder

2-3 cups

Water

2 tablespoons

Oil

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Mix together 1 teaspoon chili powder, a pinch of turmeric, and salt and apply all over the paneer. I used the whole paneer block(homemade paneer) Fry the paneer block in 1 teaspoon oil and cut then into cubes.

* Step 2

In a pan, heat the remaining oil. Add onions and saute well. Add tomatoes, and all the vegetables. Saute well. Add the spices and water. once water is boiled, add washed rice and let it cook well. Add the fried paneer cubes and mix them all together.

* Step 3

Garnish with some fresh coriander leaves and Serve hot.
