Layered Matri
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Add maida, wheat flour, besan, sooji, salt, jeera, ajwain, Kasuri methi, coarse pepper powder and combine all ingredients then add 3sp ghee mix it well and check it should hold shape.
* Step 2
Now add enough water and knead not too soft or hard dough. Prepare mixture of corn flour and ghee.
* Step 3
Now divide in half take one portion, make three balls of it and roll it into a thin chapati. Place one chapati and apply the cornflour mixture all over evenly place the next chapati on that apple the corn mixture and repeat with the third chapati, now roll it tightly again, and cut in equal parts.
* Step 4
Press lightly using plam,then for remain dough divide in half,roll it (try to make a square) apply corn mixture all over and fold halfway from one end and repeat another side also apply the corn mixture fold from the top and bottom make in a square shape.
* Step 5
Now roll it square shape then apply the corn mixture fold half from one side and fold from the other side and light roll it(see pic) and cut the pieces.(folds are more to make layers)
* Step 6
Heat oil and fry till golden crisp on medium heat evenly.
* Step 7
Two types of layered matri ready for Deepavali celebration.
