Jowar chakli

#boxweek10 An all-time favorite and very popular dewali snack can be enjoyed throughout the year, here made with jowar flour very light and crispy.

Ingredient

Cooking time :

2 Cups

jowar flour

2 spoons

rice flour

1 Spoon

carom seeds

1 Spoon

til

1 Spoon

hing

1,1/2 sp

chilli powder

2 spoons

hot oil

as per taste

Salt

1 Spoon

kasuri methi

As required

Oil for frying

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a bowl add jowar flour, rice flour, chilli powder, carom seeds, til,hing, salt, Kasuri methi, and mix it.

Add hot oil mix and adding water batches knead tight dough.

* Step 3

Grease chakli mold fills the dough and make chakli, as the dough is tight chakli will be in long sticks (make little soft dough for normal chakli shape).

Heat oil in medium flame fry chakli to crisp and golden.

Jowar chakli is ready, enjoy with tea.
