Mavinakai (mango) Kosambari

#mania Mavinakai Kosambari is prepared during Ram Navami and gouri puja for naividya and distributed with panaka.

Ingredient

chana dal

4 spoons

grated coconut

3 spoons

oil

1 tsp

hing

As per taste

1 tsp

sugar

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Wash and soak chana dal for 4- 5 hours.

Grind chana dal and raw mango pieces to a coarse paste.

Take out the paste in a bowl add coconut grated, green chilli paste, ginger paste, salt, sugar, and coriander leaves and mix all together.

In a tadka pan add oil heat it too hot add mustard seeds, red chilies, curry leaves,hing, and turmeric powder add this to prepared Kosambari and mix well.
