Traditional Gujarati and Rajasthani dessert. Classic Indian fudge with gram flour, sugar syrup flavoured with saffron and cardmom.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
In a bowl add 2sp milk,2sp ghee and mix well. Now seive besan add milk mix and lightly rub between ur hands to make it crumble textured besan(can use grained besan). Keep aside for sometime.
* Step 3
Heat ghee in a pan add besan and roast till golden and aroma then add malai (home made)and roast for few minutes turn off flame.
* Step 4
Add sugar and 1/2cup water and boil till 1string consistency.
* Step 5
Add sugar syrup to besan mix and kesar milk, cardmom powder and mix cook till it starts leaving pan or check by dropping in water if it's becomes thick then it's ready.
* Step 6
Take out on greased plate let it cool (keep it in fridge for 15,20min.)and cut and serve.
