Raw jackfruit sabzi

It's special recipe which we made in winter season. It's tender jackfruit preparation which has various types in Maharashtra. Sharing Brahmins special recipes.
Ingredient
Food ration :
serves 4 servin

45 minutes
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash and chop jackfruit. Apply oil on the knife and hands before cutting. Wash it properly again.
* Step 2
In mixer jar coarsely blend coconut and cumin seeds,. Keep aside
* Step 3
Now cook jackfruit in pressure cooker. Give at least 4 whistles. Allow it to cool down. Mash it with hand or masher
* Step 4
In pan add oil, once hot add Mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, green chillies and red chillies. Saute well. Now add mashed jackfruit to it
* Step 5
Add red chilli powder, goda masala, turmeric powder, mix well. Now add jaggery and salt. Add coconut and cumin paste. Mix well. Sprinkle some water. Add lemon juice. Cook well. Serve hot with bhakri, chapati or phulka.
* Step 6
Enjoy. In this recipe you can add cooked black chana or black vatana also. There's no garlic and onion recipe. Do try this
