Today I am sharing with you guys the recipe of Punjabi biryani.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Take a pot, add water, salt and all spices (sabut garam masala).
* Step 2
Cook on high heat until becomes boiling.
* Step 3
Add soaked rice and cook 75%.(1kani taq).
* Step 5
Take another pot, heat up the oil and fry onions until becomes pinkish.
* Step 6
Add chicken and cook on medium high heat until colour changed.
* Step 7
Add tomatoes and cook for 2 minutes.
* Step 8
Add green chilli and ginger paste,Tamarind and prune cook for few seconds.
* Step 9
Add salt, biryani masala and all spices (garam masala) and cook on medium heat until chicken gets tender.
* Step 10
Take a same pot, add make layers.
* Step 11
Once layering is done. Add yellow food colour on top and let it rest for 15 to 20 minutes on low flame.
* Step 12
Punjabi biryani is ready. Serve hot with raita.
