Jalapeño Lime Chicken Alfredo
Okay.. So I have to admit I have zero tolerance for spicy foods.. Like seriously even some MILD salsas get me sweating. 😳 But my boyfriend Nik is a huge spicy food fan .. So cooking with jalapeños never used to be on my radar .. Until we moved in together and I wanted to cook stuff that he would love. But I PROMISE you that this meal is not that spicy at all.. Just has a little zing!!! So do not be turned off by the jalapeños! I would not lie about this! 🙆

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
In a large pan melt butter. Add onion and jalapeño and sauté until onion caramelizes. While doing this boil linguine in a separate pot.
* Step 2
Add chicken to the mixture and let it warm. Not even gonna lie I am cheating and using precooked chicken. (I always have a Costco sized bag in the freezer for recipes like this.) #atleastitsorganic #nojudgements 🙊
* Step 3
Reduce to a lower heat and add lime juice. Fresh limes are probably better.. This is what I have. 💁
* Step 4
Add cream to the mixture.
* Step 5
This is where I added the cilantro too .. You can really add whenever but I had some time to kill while waiting for the pasta.
* Step 6
When your pasta is al dente, drain in the sink in a colander then add to your pot.
* Step 7
Now add your cup of parm cheese.. Or a pinch more as I did .. Hehe
