Basic Bread Dough

Basic Bread Dough

Use fresh milled flour.

Ingredient

Food ration :

2 - 1 lb loaves

Cooking time :

25-30 minutes
1 1/2 c

hot water

1/3 c

oil

1/3 c

honey

2 tsp

salt

1

egg

2 Tbs

lecithin

1 tsp

gluten

1 Tbs

yeast

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Combine water, oil, honey, salt and egg. Add lecithin, gluten and half of flour. Mix thoroughly.

* Step 2

Add yeast and enough flour to make a soft dough.

* Step 3

Knead until smooth and elastic (5-6 minutes). Let raise till double.

* Step 4

Shape as desired and let rise again. For loaves, bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes.
