Man Tou? Meng Tou? Whatever you called it! It's a simple and healthy Chinese Style steamed rolls!

Ingredient

Food ration :

6-8 small Rolls

Cooking time :

Time: 100 mins
40-70 ml

Water

10-20 g

Sugar

3-5 ml

Veggie oil

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Get your 50ml warm water and put the yeast powder in it and let the yeast does its jobs for at least 10 mins.

Add the flour, sugar into a clean bowl. Gently add mixed water and mix it well with your hand. Add more water if the mixed water cannot dissolve all the flour. Add more flour if it is too wet. Keep mixing it.

When the dough almost become round and smooth, gently add veggie oil and mix all the stuff well til round and smooth.

When the dough becomes round and smooth, let it rest for at least 45mins til you see the dough becomes double size.

* Step 5

Get the dough out and put some flour on your clean table. Ready to knead the dough and remove excessive air in it. Keep kneading with your hand.

* Step 6

After kneading you dough, gently knead the dough into long shape, keep rolling it.

Chop it into several pieces (6-8 pieces). Get ready for the second resting.

While waiting for the dough finish the second resting, get your steaming machine ready.

* Step 9

Put the meng tou on the butter paper and put it into the steaming machine. Steam it for 15mins.

Now you have beautiful and simple meng tou! You can also add little bit condensed milk and tip it! (Trust me it tastes so good)
