Taro Cake / Savory / Vegan recipe
You can find this dish at every wet market in Indonesia, especially if you go to the old lady shop that sells sweet and savory cakes to accompany your coffee time in the morning.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Fry chopped garlic and add diced taro, stir well, add water and flour, simmer for 15 mins till soft, set aside
* Step 2
Place into stainless steel container and steam for 15mins
* Step 3
For the topping, fry shallot and radish together, add sweet soy sauce and pepper
* Step 4
Serve the taro cake with topping
