Ingredient

mustard

1 tsp

butter

2 slices

bacon, cooked

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Toast the bread then lightly butter sides of each slice.

* Step 2

Spread some mayonnaise and mustard on one side of each of those slices.

* Step 3

Layer the ham and sliced tomato. Place another piece of the toasty on top of that mayonnaise side up.

* Step 4

Layer the bacon, fried egg and lettuce. Top with another slice of bread mayonnaise side down.

* Step 5

Stick toothpicks in the center of the four side of the toast. Slice into quarters with a sharp knife. Serve with chips and beer.

* Step 6

Notes:

* Step 7

Cook bacon in the oven at 180ºC for about 15 minutes flipping halfway through or you can cook it in the pan.

* Step 8

Don’t skip buttering the bread. It really takes this sandwich over the top and give more flavour.

* Step 9

This sandwich is best enjoyed promptly or shortly after being made.
