Creamed Tuna & Noodles

This was definitely a #strugglemeal that I pulled out of thin air. 👌😄👏 It has a real "great depression era" feel to me. We were running low on groceries and I wasn't sure what to make. 🤔🤷🏻‍♀️ I threw together what we had, and this is what I came up with. 😏👍👍 Needless to say, the children were not upset! 😆🥰 That being said, you could use any pasta noodles that you have for this and you could also substitute the tuna for a can of chicken or salmon or whatever you like! #creamedtuna #tunanoodles #tunafish #throwtogether #usewhatyouhave

Ingredient

Food ration :

4-6 servings

Cooking time :

45 mins
1-2 cans

tuna

2 cups

milk

1 tsp

salt

2 tsp

pepper

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

First, start boiling water for noodles. When water is ready boil noodles until softened. Drain and set aside.

* Step 2

Meanwhile, add all remaining ingredients to a large skillet over medium heat & stir to combine well.

Continue to cook for 25-35 minutes or until mixture begins to get bubbly. Stirring often.

* Step 4

Serve over noodles with buttered bread. Or even with crackers, or anything you like! 😎👍👍
