Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Take pan and dry roast til and chana dal. Take out in dish and let it cool.

Now in same pan heat oil.

* Step 3

Put jeera and let it splutter. Add garlic cloves. Saute it.

Now put onions. Cook for a min. Add ginger, chilli and tamarind. Mix well.

* Step 5

Now add coriander leaves. Cook for a min and add tomatoes. Mix well.

Add all dry spices. Add half cup of water.

* Step 7

Mix well. Cover and cook for 10 mins on slow flame.

* Step 8

Keep aside and let it cool.

* Step 9

Now in a mixer jar take roasted chana dal and til.

* Step 10

Grind it to make powder.

* Step 11

Now add cooked tomatoes in this powder.

* Step 12

Blend it and make smooth paste.

* Step 13

Now for tadka heat oil.

* Step 14

Add rai and let it splutter.

* Step 15

Add jeera, chana dal and Urad dal.

* Step 16

Roast properly. Add curry leaves and red chilli.

* Step 17

Now add chutney on tadka and mix well.

* Step 18

Delicious chutney is ready.

* Step 19

Serve hot with steamed rice.
