Mandys meat and vegetable spaghetti sauce

A great way to get kids to eat their veg

Ingredient

900 grams

steak mince

1 large

onion diced

5 clove

garlic diced

1 handful

mushroom diced

2 tbsp

basil dried

500 ml

passata

to taste

salt pepper

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Brown meat in a pan, drain off excess fat, leaving behind one tablespoon

* Step 2

Add onion and garlic and saute until tender

* Step 3

Add dried herb, tomato puree and the remaining veg mix well, cook for five minutes

Add balsamic vinegar, passata and enough water to cover all ingredients. Bring to a boil, then gently simmer until the right thickness u like. Season with salt n pepper and serve with Ur favourite pasta topped with a handful of cheese if u like and enjoy
