Rajma Masala

Rajma masala recipe is a popular red kidney bean curry.This recipe is popular as Rajma chawal .This is all time favorite in indian household.

Ingredient

2 cups

rajma

2 tablespoons

oil

1 tablespoons

ginger-garlic paste

1/2 teaspoon

cumin powder

1/2 teaspoon

coriander powder

1 teaspoon

red chili powder

to taste

salt,

1 teaspoon

garam masala

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a pressure cooker add the rajma, 2 cups water, turmeric, salt. Stir and cook on high for 1-2 whistle. Check if rajma is soft. Heat oil in a pan,once the oil is hot add cumin seeds. Saute for a minute. Add onions and cook for few minutes till light brown.next add bay leaves to it. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook till raw smell goes away. This will take 3-4 minutes. Once the ginger-garlic is done, add the fresh tomato puree and mix. Cover the pan and let it cook for 10 minutes on medium hea
