No Knead Bread (No Dutch Oven Needed)

No Knead Bread (No Dutch Oven Needed)

Easy no knead bread to make without a dutch oven.

Ingredient

Food ration :

2 loaves

Cooking time :

35 minutes
4 cups (500 g)

all purpose flour

1 teaspoon

instant dry yeast

2 cups (470 ml)

warm water

1 tablespoon

olive oil

1 tablespoon

sugar

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Combine flour and salt in a bowl. Set aside.

Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast in a bowl or measuring cup. Stir until well combined and let sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.

Combine wet mixture into dry ingredients. Make sure it's well incorporated.

Cover with a clean cloth or plastic wrap and let rise for 1-2 hours at warm room temperature.

Place in refrigerator for 4-12 hours. Dough will triple in size.

Remove dough from refrigerator. Flour your surface and hands to shape dough. Note it is very sticky.

Dust cookie sheet or 2 round cake pans with flour. Place dough seam down and cover with cloth for 30 minutes.

* Step 8

In the meanwhile preheat over at 400°. Place a cake or lasagna pan with water on lower rack. Score bread and place in rack above water.

* Step 9

Bake for 30-35 minutes. Remove from oven and let rest for an hour on a cooling rack before slicing.
