Dhaba Style Dal Tadka

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Take a cup of dal and soak it in water for about 20 mins.
* Step 2
Once done drain the water Now take a pressure cooker and add one tsp ghee, once the ghee is heated add cumin seeds, some grated ginger, green chilies, and turmeric powder.
* Step 3
Add 2 cups of water and cover it with a lid and pressure cook it until 3 whistles. Once done let the pressure cooker cool down then open the lid.
* Step 4
Now in a pan add ghee once the ghee is heated add cumin seeds,hing, ginger, green, dried red chili chilies, and curry leaves, and sautee it for about a min.
* Step 5
Then add chopped tomatoes, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt and cook it until the tomatoes get mushy.
* Step 6
Once done add the cooked dal and then add garam masala, sugar, and lemon juice and give it a stir.
* Step 7
Then finally top it with coriander and bring it to a boil. Once done turn off the flame.
* Step 8
For tadka
In a pan add ghee once the ghee is heated add cumin seeds, dried red chili,hing, and red chili powder.
* Step 9
Add that into the dal and your Dhaba style Dal tadka is ready.
