Coconut Cabbage Carrot Stir Fry

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add mustard seeds and allow it to crackle. Add cumin seeds, fennel seeds and allow it to sizzle for few seconds. Add asafoetida, chopped green chillies, curry leaves, chopped garlic cloves and dried red chillies.
* Step 2
Next add the finely chopped cabbage and carrot and stir fry in open pan. When the vegetables are semi cooked, add turmeric powder, black pepper powder and salt and continue to stir fry.
* Step 3
Next add the freshly grated coconut and mix well. Stir fry until done. This Coconut Cabbage Carrot Thoran (Stir Fry) goes well with Curd Curry and Steamed Rice or Roti.
