Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Wash the mangoes. In a pressure cooker, add the mangoes and 2 cups of water. Cook till 4 to 5 whistles.

* Step 2

Drain the mangoes and let it cool. Save the water.

* Step 3

Remove the skin of the mangoes. Take the pulp of the mangoes and add it to a blender alongwith mint leaves and blend to a smooth paste. Add this paste to the saved mango water.

* Step 4

Add cold water and mix continuously.

* Step 5

Add cumin powder, black salt and juice of lemon. Taste and adjust the spices and water and mix it properly.

* Step 6

Heat a small tadka pan with ghee. Add cumin seeds and allow it to sizzle for 10 seconds. Add asafoetida.

* Step 7

Mix this tadka into the Aam Panna and give it a good mix.

* Step 8

Serve Aam Pudina Ka Panna with ice or let it chill in the refrigerator before serving.
