Mango or Aam Kheer is a rich creamy dessert filled with the flavours and goodness of fresh mango pulp and milk .As the mango season is in peak, this dessert tastes great with fresh cut mango cubes along with some dry fruits and a perfect after meal dessert to make in summer.
In this recipe, milk is simmered till reduced to half. It is then cooled .Mango puree is then mixed into the kheer and served chilled.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Pour milk in a pan. Boil it till it comes to a rolling boil. Reduce heat and simmer it in medium flame.Dilute milk powder with 1/2 cup warm milk and add it to the milk.Add 2 tbsp sugar or condensed milk and boil.Make a slurry of 1 tsp cornflour and add it to the boiling milk.Continue to simmer until milk thickens and reduced to half its original volume.Remove from heat and cool completely. Peel and chop the mango.
* Step 2
Puree the mango with 1 tbsp sugar and 1/4 th cup cold milk till well blended.Heat ghee in a wok and stir the pureed mango till it is thick.Set aside to cool.Chop few slices of mango into cubes.Set aside.Also chop cashewnuts,
almonds and cherries and set aside.
* Step 3
Add the mango pulp to the cooled kheer and mix well.Pour in serving bowls and garnish with chopped nuts,cherries and cubed mangoes.Chill for 3-4 hours and relish the flavours of a delicious mango after meal dessert or Aam Kheer.
