Mustard Coconut Prawns

Mustard Coconut Prawns is a traditional Bengali delicacy cooked in mustard oil with grated coconut, mustard paste and yogurt .There are two ways of cooking this recipe : one by cooking Prawns in a wok and the other one is by steaming. Both ways they taste delicious. Serve this Indian delicacy with steamed rice in lunch or dinner.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Clean and marinate prawns with little salt and turmeric. Set aside for 10 minutes.Soak mustard seeds for ten minutes in warm water.Make a paste of it with one green chilli,curd and set aside.Heat mustard oil and fry the prawns lightly.
* Step 2
In the remaining oil add the coconut mustard paste,turmeric, red chilli powder,salt to taste.Add the fried prawns,1 cup water and boil for 5 minutes.Sprinkle 2 tsp raw mustard oil and give it a boil.Adding mustard oil lends an unique flavour to this dish.Switch off flame.Garnish with slit red and green chillies and chopped coriander. Serve hot Mustard Coconut Prawns with steamed rice in lunch or dinner.
