Moong Sprouts Kabab

#week3of5 #non_junk_starter #post_3 #goldenapron3 #week20 #ingredient_moong Sprouted moong is very nutritious and a rich sauce of protein,fiber and essential nutrients.It can be served in various ways be it salad,chaat,kababs or khichri to name the few.These crunchy yummy kababs are ideal for breakfast,evening snacks or as starters and best served with salad,sauce or mint and coriander dip.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Boil and mash the potato.Pressure cook moong sprouts with 1/4 th cup water upto 1 whistle and release steam immediately.Dry out any water left in the sprouts and cool.Grind coarsely and mix with mashed potato.Add chopped onion,green chillies,chickpea flour,1/2 tsp baking powder,chaat masala,garam masala,meat masala,red chilli powder and salt to taste.Add little breadcrumbs if the mixture is soft.Knead to prepare a dough.

* Step 2

Spread 2 tbsp cornflour on a plate.Smear oil in palm and form into cutlets from the dough.Toss all cutlets in cornflour.Heat a grill pan.Drizzle oil on it and shallow fry the kababs.Serve healthy moong kababs with salad and hot and sweet tomato sauce in breakfast or evening snacks or as starters.
