C2S Mania (Chickpeas with Cheese & Spinach)

#KITCHENMASTERS #mysteryweek week1/challenge1 Ingredients taken (Chickpeas,Cheese,Spinach)..so the name C2S Mania. This is a healthy dish rich in protein,vitamins and minerals which can be served with toasted bread or any flat bread and makes for a perfect supper.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Pressure cook chickpeas with little salt,baking soda and 1 cup water 4 whistles.Open lid after 5 minutes and drain water completely.Reserve stock. Meanwhile chop spinach,wash and drain water completely.

* Step 2

Heat a nonstick pan and add oil.Fry minced garlic and ginger.Add chopped onion,tomato and sprinkle little salt to soften the tomato.Add the boiled chickpeas and toss.Add tomato puree,turmeric,red chilli powder,and spinach.Toss and add black pepper powder and garam masala.Add chilli flakes and toss all.If needed add little reserved stock of chickpeas.

Garnish with scraped cheese and chopped coriander.
