#THC#Post No.1 #Theme_healthykid'stiffinrecipes Broken wheat ( Daliya) is a very healthy dish as it provides a rich amount of dietary fiber and vitamins and enjoyed both by kids and adults.Addition of different veggies and nuts makes it nutritious and colourful too.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Chop onion finely.Chop all vegetables into very small pieces.Dry roast the daliya and set aside.

* Step 2

Heat oil in a pressure cooker and sprinkle mustard and jeera.When it splutters add chopped ginger and urad dal. Fry lightly and add few curry leaves and chopped onion.Then add the chopped vegetables and fry lightly.Add the broken wheat,green chillies, salt and pinch of sugar to taste.

* Step 3

Add 2 cups water and pressure cook 2 whistles.Allow the steam to release after some time and moisture dries up.Garnish with roasted peanuts and pomegranate seeds and lemon juice.Sprinkle chopped coriander and serve with lemon wedge and sweet and sour scraped and steamed papaya.
