Kantola / Teasle Gourd / Kakrol Chips

#5ing - Shun your normal potato chips and try this unusual Teasle Gourd chips and relish as appetizers with some kasundi (bottled mustard sauce) or green chutney. It is really yummy and something different. They can also be had as a side dish with dal-chawal for a soul satisfying meal.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Mix together sliced kakrol with salt and turmeric powder.

* Step 2

Heat oil in a pan and deep fry them in batches till golden in colour. Drain on a kitchen towel.

* Step 3

Garnish with coriander leaves and serve as appetizers with kasundi / green chutney.
