Mughlai Paratha - Bengali Style
#Diwalidelights - Diwali snack should always be something special. So these yummy Mughlai Parathas are there for you all to be relished with any side dish. It can be either deep fried or shallow fried. This is a wholesome dish and serves as a great breakfast menu too.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
In a bowl, mix together onion, tomato, green chilies, coriander leaves & pepper powder. In another bowl, keep the beaten egg ready to use.
* Step 2
Knead a stiff dough with the atta, salt, 1 tbsp. oil and required quantity of water. Keep aside for an hour.
* Step 3
Make 4 equal portions of the dough. Roll out each portion into a large circle. Place some of the stuffing in the centre, followed by little of the beaten egg.
* Step 4
Fold from both the sides as shown.
* Step 5
Then fold from the other two sides just like an envelope.
* Step 6
Heat 1 tsp. oil on a tawa / griddle and shallow fry the parathas......... on both sides till light golden in colour.
* Step 7
Serve with any side dish or pickles.
