Spicy Grilled Onigiri

#immunebooster [Theme: "Tapaian"] I used Chinese Doubanjian(豆瓣醬) and Tianmianjiang(甜麵醬, Chinese sweetened soybean paste) to arrange my original grilled rice balls to make it spicy this time! You can also substitute these 2 pastes with Gochujang, a Korean red chili paste contains glutinous rice, fermented soybeans, salt and sweeteners.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Add Doubanjian, Tianmianjiang, sugar and soy sauce in a bowl.

Add cooked white rice and mix well with spatula.

Make 4 pieces of Onigiri balls.

* Step 4

Heat some sesame oil in a pan, cook Onigiri under medium heat until they become slightly scorched. Finish!
