Simple Sloppy Joe Toppings on Toast (sandwich)
It's something we ate on a lazy day. Mix, dump in, cook and eat. Could not be simpler! You can add anything else you want - potatoes, button mushrooms, carrots, peas, etc. Traditionally, I think this calls for french fries or oven-baked potatoes. Go for it if that's what you want. Cooking instructions
* Step 1
HEAT oil in pot (slow cooker) and ADD onion and garlic. Cook until slightly fragrant, approximately 1 minute
* Step 2
In a large bowl, MIX all sauces, salt, sugar, pepper to taste
* Step 3
ADD mince into the mix, then TOPPED with celery, bell pepper and sauces; cook (in slow cooker) for approximately 45 minutes on fast cook on the cooker; over stove, 15 to 20 minutes will do
* Step 4
10 minutes before finishing, add cheddar cheese and spring onions, stir
* Step 5
Serve with toast, freshly sliced tomatoes, scrambled eggs, sunny side ups, sausages, bacon or anything else you have with you
