One Pan Cajun Cheesy Sausage Pasta

This recipe was found floating around Pinterest. I jazzed it up a bit and boy, was it delicious. The flavor is absolutely titillating! 👌🏻 It holds a special place in my heart as well, because it happens to be one of the last meals I made for my grandmother before she passed away. She had always held an appreciation for good food, and I cooked for her and my mom as much as time would allow. I’m very grateful that I got to do that one last time. RIP Grandma Jane. I love you forever.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat the olive oil in a large sauce pan on medium-high. Cut up the sausage and add it to the pan, along with the Rotel (undrained) and all the seasonings. Cook, stirring frequently, for about 5-7 minutes until the sausage browns.

* Step 2

Add the broth, whipping cream and noodles and mix well. Bring to a boil. Then cover and simmer on low for about 15 minutes.

* Step 3

Increase heat. Add 1 cup of cheese to the mixture and stir well until it’s slow boiling again.

* Step 4

Lower the heat, sprinkle the other cup of cheese on top and then cover and let sit for 5 minutes until the cheese melts nicely on top.

* Step 5

Remove from heat, serve immediately and enjoy!!
