Rabdi is a popular Indian dessert while cake is a sweet treat which is not belongs to our country India. So rabdi malai cake is a amalgamation of indo-western desserts . Needless to mention that it's a fusion dessert & this dessert is completely vegetarian .

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
First we need to bake the cake. For that we need to mix all the wet ingredients such as curd,sugar,oil,milk first then we need to add all dry ingredients like flour,baking soda, baking powder one by one to the mixture. Beat it thoroughly with the help of a whisk. Now the cake batter is ready.
* Step 2
Now pour the cake batter in a greased baking tray and prea heat a kadahai on cooktop for about 5 minutes on high flame. Once the kadhai is nice & hot reduce the heat to medium & put the cake tin over a metal rack & cover up the kadhai. You may use any heavy bottom pan.
* Step 3
Now it's time to prepare the rabdi.heat up 1 liter milk. Reduce it to 400 ml. Add sugar, saffron strands, cardamom powder. Simmer for another 10 minutes. Now the rabdi is ready. Cool it down by taking it off from the heat.
* Step 4
Now after 20 minutes check the cake by pricking it with a toothpick, if it comes out clean then the cake is ready. Now place the cake pan on a cooling rack & prick the upper surface of the cake with a fork.
* Step 5
Now pour warm rabdi over the cake & allow it to absorb some moisture from the rabdi. Keep it inside the fridge for couple of hours then decorate it by sprinkling some b
nuts & dry rose petals(optional) serve with some extra rabdi on the top.
