Ingredient

1 cup

besan

1/2 tsp

hing

1 tsp

chana dal

1/2 tsp

Haldi powder

to taste

Salt

as needed

Oil

as needed

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Peel & mash boiled potatoes in a bowl

* Step 2

Heat 2 tsp oil in a pan. Add 1/2 tsp hing. Add mustard sesds, let them crackle. Add curry leaves, garlic, chana dal, saute for a minute. Add mashed potatoes. Add haldi, salt & coriander leaves & mix well. Keep aside

* Step 3

Make small balls from potato mixture. Flatten on hand. Place a piece of cheese cube in the centre with some dry garlic chutney in the centre. Roll into balls again.

* Step 4

For green besan batter. Take 1 cup besan add 1/2 cup spinach puree in it. Add salt, chilli, hing & water to make a paste.

* Step 5

Dip the potato balls in the green besan mixture. Heat oil in a karahi & deep fry till golden brown

* Step 6

Now take a pav. Put some dry garlic chutney on it. Place a greeny cheesy vada on top & serve hot
