Whosayna’s Turkish Veggies and Mutton Pie

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Marinate meat in salt, vinegar and turmeric powder (if you are cooking the mutton in the pie need to marinate overnight adding tenderiser
* Step 2
In a bowl put flour and all the rest of ingredients except milk and water, mix well
* Step 3
Now add milk and mix, then add little water at a time to bind the dough to soft and smooth dough
* Step 4
Cover the dough and let it rise
* Step 5
In pressure cooker put two tablespoon of oil and braise onions to pinkish color
* Step 6
Add mutton pieces, cinnamon stick and mix well add little water and let it cook till tender, remove lid and dry if there is water can add peas now so it cooks as well
* Step 7
In a big wok add two tablespoon of oil keep on flame as oil heats up add garlic and ginger
* Step 8
Then add tomatoes, veggies, green chillies and salt, braise for five minutes add mutton pieces with peas and black pepper mix well, remove from flame add herbs and mix well, let it cool down

Grease three round trays or pot lids
* Step 10
Make six portions of the dough and roll them into round rotis
* Step 11
Place a roti on the tray use one third of the mutton gravy and put on it
* Step 12
Cover with the other roti and seal the sides, glaze with beaten egg and sprinkle nigella seeds or black sesame
* Step 13
Bake in oven on 200 C till top is browned up
