4 Bean Dinner

Mom used to make this with ketchup instead of BBQ sauce, adding a tablespoon of mustard and brown sugar, also without the black beans (we called it 3 bean). I like it better my way. Pairs excellently with cornbread.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Brown ground beef(with garlic if desired), crumbling to small pieces. Drain excess grease & return to stovetop. Heat on Medium low.

* Step 2

Drain all cans of beans (remove queen bean from pork&beans) and add to beef

* Step 3

Add in 1/2 to 1 cup BBQ sauce, stir thoroughly. Heat for about 10 minutes or until all is hot and bubbly

* Step 4

Serve in bowls with cheese as a topping.
