French beans rice

#goldenapron3 #week13 In this pandemic situation of covid -19 one pot meal is a best option for lunch or dinner with limited ingredients. French beans rice is a yummy dish which can be prepared within few minutes.

Ingredient

Food ration :

Cooking time :

10 minutes
4 cups

cooked rice

3 tsp

oil

1/2 cup

peanuts

1 tbsp

lemon juice

1 pinch

asafoetida

1 tsp

Chana dal

1 tsp

urad dal

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat a Kadai with oil and then add punch phoran and asafoetida. When they crackle then add curry leaves, red chilli,chana dal and urad dal.

Then add peanuts and saute them for 1 minute and then add chopped ginger, chilli in it.

Saute them for another 1 minute and then add chopped French beans in it.

Add turmeric powder and salt in it.

Cover the lid and cook it for sometime till they become cooked.

Then add cooked rice.

Mix it well and cook for another 3-4 minutes. Then add lemon juice in it.

Your French beans rice is ready. Switch off the flame.

Serve hot.
