Millet green peas pulao

Helps in weight loss. It improves immunity. This satisfies the hunger which keeping you far away from unhealthy eating habits.

Ingredient

Cooking time :

20 minutes
1.5 cup

water

as per taste

Salt

1/2 tsp

black pepper

1 tsp

ghee

1/2 tsp

cumin seeds

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat a Kadhai or pan and then dry roast the Millets and then wash it and boiled it in water and salt for 5-7 minutes and keep them aside.

* Step 2

In another pan put oil and then add the whole spices and saute it for 30 seconds.

* Step 3

When there is a nice aroma then add the cumin seeds and after the crackling of the cumin seeds then add the chopped onion in it and cook it till they become translucent.

* Step 4

Then add the cashew nuts, green peas and chopped green chilli in it.

* Step 5

Cook it for some time and when the green peas are half cooked then add the boiled millet in it and mix it well.

* Step 6

Add salt in it and again cook it for 5 minutes in low flame. Now your Millets green peas pulao is ready to serve. Serve hot with any raita.
