Star moon chop

#technique2 These are so yummy deep fried snacks which are crunchy from outside and soft from inside.

Ingredient

Food ration :

3-4 servings

Cooking time :

20 minutes
1/4 cup

ground nuts

As per taste

Salt

1/2 tsp

cumin seeds

1 cup

semolina

2 tsp

cornflour

As required

water

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat a pan and put oil in it.

* Step 2

Then add the cumin seeds and when they crackle then add the chopped onion in it.

* Step 3

When the onions become translucent then add the ginger garlic paste and saute it for sometimes till the smell of the garlic has gone.

* Step 4

Then add other vegetables along with groundnuts and cover it for 5 minutes.

* Step 5

Then add salt and other spices in it and then again cover it for 5 minutes.

* Step 6

Then add the mashed potatoes in it. Mix it well and again cook it for 3-4 minutes.

* Step 7

Switch off the flame and allow it to cool completely.

* Step 8

Then make shape as like star and moon and roll them on the semolina and the deep them in cornflour slurry and deep fry them in oil.

* Step 9

Now your star moon chops are ready to serve.

* Step 10

Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
