Basic chocolate truffle mixture
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
These are delicious, versatile balls of melting chocolate gold!! You can add whatever flavour you want, be it Coconut, Peppermint, Orange etc.
* Step 2
Break up chocolate into bite size pieces and place in a microwavable glass bowl along with the cream. Microwave on high for 1 minute.
* Step 3
Stir the mixture together until combined. Don't panick if there are still chocolate chunks, keep stirring they should melt. If needed microwave 10 secs at a time. Don't burn it!
* Step 4
Add your chosen flavoured essence and combine well. Always taste now to make sure you are happy.....and its fun to taste while your cooking :) Place ganache in the fridge for 1/2 an hr to become solid.
* Step 5
Work quickly once chocolate is out of the fridge. Take a tblspn of the mixture and roll into a ball. Coat in cocoa/sprinkles/coconut, store in fridge.
* Step 6
NOTE: If you want oozing chocolate lava cakes, make a chocolate cake batter, fill cup cake molds, and drop one of these babies in the middle, submerged in batter before baking. YUM!!
