Chettinad Chicken Curry

One of the most popular spicy and flavourful chicken curry comes from Chettinad. It's also one of my favourite chicken curry
Ingredient

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Marinate chicken with salt, turmeric and lemon juice. set aside for 30 minutes to 1 hour
* Step 2
Dry roast all dry spices until aromat. Keep it aside
* Step 3
Dry roast coconut until golden brown
* Step 4
Grind coconut and dry spices with little water to form smooth paste. keep it aside
* Step 5
Heat oil in a pan, saute onions with little salt until tender
* Step 6
Add ginger garlic paste and curry leaves. saute until raw aroma goes away
* Step 7
Add chopped tomatoes and saute until tender
* Step 8
Add marinated chicken and mix well
* Step 9
Cover and cook until chicken is cooked stirring occasionally
* Step 10
Add ground paste, salt with required water for consistency.mix well. bring to boil
* Step 11
Cover and simmer for 10 minutes
* Step 12
Add coriander leaves and mix well
