Besan Cardamom Banana Cake

1 teaspoon

cardamom

2 tbsp

Canola oil

1 teaspoon

vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon

baking soda

3/4 teaspoon

baking powder

salt

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Mash Banana and keep it aside

Preheat oven to 180 and line cake tin

Sieve besan, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Keep it aside

Add Cardamom powder and mix well

In separate bowl, whisk egg, oil, sugar, yoghurt and vanilla extract. Mix well

Add bananas and nuts. Mix well

Add dry ingredients and mix until well combined

Pour batter into prepared cake tin

Bake for 20-25 minutes until done. Toothpick inserted into centre should be clean

Allow to cool for 30 minutes

Demould and cool on wire rack completely

Dust with icicing sugar or frost and serve or Serve as is
