butter

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Add 3 ripened guavas (pressure cooked for 2 whistles) into a mixer jar & blend it in a fine paste without adding any water.

Add the blended guava to a strainer & strain to get smooth pulp.

* Step 3

Heat up a pan. Add the strained guava pulp, 1 cup sugar and let the sugar melt on a low flame.

* Step 4

Add 3-4 tbsp butter to it & let it melt. Keep mixing continuously till the mixture cooks well.

* Step 5

Take a mould greased with butter. Pour in the cooked mixture when it is still hot & spread evenly.

* Step 6

Let is cool & set completely. Remove from mould & cut in desired shape. Garnish with pistachio flakes & serve.
