Portuguese Cod Fish - Bacalhau a Gomes de Sa
This is a typical Easter dish in Brazil, but I like it so much that I use every excuse to make this all year long. This recipe takes a lot of preparation time. But believe me it's worth it!

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Soak the cod in cold water to cover for 24 to 36 hours, changing the water occasionally, drain.
* Step 2
Soak the cod in the milk for 6 hours.
* Step 3
Remove the cod from the milk and boil the milk.
* Step 4
Remove milk from heat and immerse cod in it again for 20 minutes.
* Step 5
On the side, steam (or cook it as you like) the broccoli.
* Step 7
Cook the onions and the potatoes in 3 tbsp of olive oil for about 10 minutes.
* Step 8
Add the water and the olive oil, and cook it for for another 5 minutes.
* Step 9
Remove the cod from the milk, and wash it delicately.
* Step 10
Add the cod to the potato + onion mix.
* Step 11
Using a large baking pan, place the cod, the potatoes + onion mix.
* Step 12
Add the broccoli, the olives and the egg over the cod.
* Step 13
Cook it in the oven at 180 C / 350?F for 10 minutes.
