Yellow chicken skewers

10 skewers
1 1/2 tsp

garlic paste

3 tbls

lemon juice

to taste

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Cut the chicken into strips of 1 inch thickness

* Step 2

In a bowl or ziplock bag, add the chicken and the rest of the ingredients. Mix well to combine it all and allow to marinate for atleast 30 minutes

* Step 3

Soak the bamboo skewers in water for about 10-15 minutes. This will stop them from burning when grilling the skewers

* Step 4

Stack the chicken pieces into the skewers lengthwise (2-3 strips per skewer, depending on the length of the strips) until the chicken is all used up

* Step 5

Heat some cooking oil in a grill pan over medium high heat. Once the oil gets hot, start grilling the skewers, while brushing with leftover marinade until cooked through.

* Step 6

Remove skewers from heat and set on a dish, ready to serve. These can be served on a pita bread with garlic sauce and a salad
