Blooming Onion with Dipping Sauce

1/2 cup
milk
1 cup
flour
1 tsp
salt
1 tbsp
red chilli powder
1 tbsp
paprika1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp
cumin powder
1/4 tsp
oregano
3-4 tbsp
breadcrumbs
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Mix egg and milk and keep aside. Now mix flour and all the other ingredients except onion and keep aside
* Step 2
Cut the base and top of onion so it can stay on flat surface. Now make vertical cuts in onion 3/4th way down...sort of making petals.
* Step 3
.. Roll this onion in egg mix and then in flour mix..make sure dry mixture reaches to all parts... then again dip in egg mixture and roll in dry mixture.
* Step 4
Deep fry in very hot oil for 10minutes. take out and drain on paper... serve with the dippin sauce
* Step 5
SAUCE:
i simply mixed 3tbsp mayonnaise.. 1 tbsp hot chilli sauce and 1 tbsp peri peri sauce!
