Ingredient

Food ration :

4 servings
1/3 cup

sugar

2 tsp

honey

3/4 cup

Flour

1 tsp

Soy sauce

2 tbsp

Milk

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Mix egg and sugar in a bowl

* Step 2

Add honey and soy sauce and mix again

* Step 3

Dissolve baking powder in water

* Step 4

Add sifted flour, potato starch and baking powder into egg mixture gradually

* Step 5

Add milk and mix well

* Step 6

Leave the dough for 30minutes or even overnight

* Step 7

Heat frying pan WITHOUT adding dough, wait until pan is HOT so that surface can be browned (use medium-low heat just enough to cover batter)

* Step 8

Pour dough at 10cm above pan surface to make round dorayaki(no oil needed)

* Step 9

Wait until surface bubbles then flip and wait for around 10s
