Ingredient

Food ration :

4 servings
1/2 cup

jaggery

3/4 cup

water

1/2 cup

rice flour

1/2 cup

rava

1 tbsp

wheat flour

1/2 TSP

baking soda

2 tbsp

ghee

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Melt jaggery by adding water..take one boil and remove from flame.

Mash banana with fork.

Add semolina,rice flour,wheat flour and jaggery water to it..

* Step 4

Add baking soda and cardamon powder..mix well forming flowing consistency.

* Step 5

Heat the appam pan...grease it with 1/4tsp ghee in each hole.

* Step 6

Fill each hole to 3/4 th with batter.close the lid and cook till sides turns golden brown

* Step 7

Turn the appam to upside down and cook on other side.if required drizzle more ghee.

* Step 8

Serve hot or cold by garnishing it with grated coconut.
