Fruity rava dosa served with fruit chat and pistachio shrikhand

#GA4 #week25 #rava_dosa Rava dosa is a very healthy quick dish for breakfast or snack. Generally rava dosa is made savoury and served with chutneys and sambar etc. I have made a quite different dish using the same rava dosa and this is my innovative dessert recipe. This dessert is made of a lot of fruits with little citrusy flavour and served with pistachio flavoured shrikhand.

Ingredient

Food ration :

Cooking time :

4 min/dosa
1 1/2 tbsp

all-purpose flour

1 1/2 tbsp

rice flour

2 tablespoon

icing sugar

1 pinch

salt

1-2

kiwi

1/2 teaspoon

chat masala

1 teaspoon

sugar

1/4 teaspoon

black salt

1/2 cup

hung curd

2 tablespoon

pistachio powder

as required

Some Mint leaves

as required

Icing sugar

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Take frozen mixed berries to a blender and blend to make a puree.

Combine the rava, maida, rice flour, icing sugar and a pinch of salt to a bowl.

Add-in the mixed berry puree and mix well.

Also add in water to make a thin batter.

The batter should be thin flowing consistency.

In the meantime make the fruit chat.For that cut all the fruits in small cubes. Also take the segments from 1 orange.

Mix all the fruits to a mixing bowl. Add in icing sugar, chopped mint leaves, chat masala and black salt. Combine everything well.Set aside.

For the pista shrikhand, 1st grind some pistachios to make coarse powder.

Take hung curd,icing sugar and pista powder to a bowl.

Mix together to make pistachio shrikhand. Set aside.

Now make the fruity rava dosa.

For that heat a non-stick pan, grease it lightly with butter and sprinkle a little water on it.

Pour 1 tablespoon of batter on it and spread it in a circular manner.

Cover and cook in medium heat until the dosa becomes little crisp.

Also pour little butter while cooking. It will take a little longer time to make them crisp than normal dosa. You can cook only in one side or both sides can also be cooked.

Remove from pan carefully and transfer to a dish.

Fold the dosa in cone shape. I used a cone mould to give shape. You can make without cone also.

Repeat to make remaining dosas.

For serving, fill each dosa cone with fruit chat.

Place the cone horizontally on a white serving dish.Spoon some pistachio shrikhand.

Place more fruit chat on the sides. Garnish with mint leaves and dust with icing sugar.
