Tava pulao

#Leftovers If you have some leftover cooked rice then Tava Pulao is a great option to make in the breakfast or for lunch box. It is very flavorful and spicy fried rice.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat a big tava or griddle, add butter and cumin seeds.

* Step 2

When the cumin seeds crackle, add ginger-garlic paste.

* Step 3

Saute on medium heat for a minute.

* Step 4

Add the chopped onion and saute for another 1 or 2 minutes.

* Step 5

Add the chopped capsicum and carrot. Mix well and saute for 2-3 minutes.

* Step 6

Add the tomatoes, mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes on medium heat.

* Step 7

Now add turmeric powder, chilli powder, pav bhaji masala, salt and 1/4 th cup of water.

* Step 8

Mix well and cover. Cook on medium heat for 3-4 minutes.

* Step 9

Now add the rice and green peas. Mix well so that the masala mix with the rice evenly.

* Step 10

Garnish with some chopped coriander and serve immediately.
