I’m always in search of a good balanced icing recipe, but I love the flavor of cream cheese icing. So I combined two of my favorite recipes my moms cream cheese frosting and a buttercream recipe.
Ingredient
2 1/2 cups
confectioners sugar
2 tablespoons
vanilla or less to taste
1 stick
unsalted butter room temp
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Cream butter
* Step 2
Add cream cheese and whip until blended
* Step 3
Add vanilla and mix well
* Step 4
Slowly incorporate sugar 1/2 cup at a time,stop when all sugar is blended.
* Step 5
Scrape side and turn mixer to whip to create light texture or leave it as is.
* Step 6
Make sure your cake is completely cool and frost!
