Granola

There are many granola recipes. And i came across the Guardian recipe 1:6 1 for liquid and 6for dried ingredients(grains+ seeds +dried fruits). I have tweaked the recipe...

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Bake the nuts & seeds 150C, 15min. If there is no time, this baking can be skipped. They will still turn out fine.

Boil liquids over slow fire~ till liquid boils. Off fire, add the extracts if using.

* Step 3

Mix all the dry ingredients with the warm liquid.

Stir in salt. Salt is essential to balance the sweetness of the sweeteners.

Bake at 150C, 45min. Stirring every 15 minutes.

* Step 6

Mix in the dried fruits after baking is completed. Let granola cool before breaking them up.

Great with yoghurt &/or milk.
